The Incumbent Worker Series (IWS) provides students with opportunities to strengthen their academic skills in order to advance to higher levels of employment, (especially from entry level jobs) by preparing for Civil Service positions and/or reinstate or receive advanced certification. IWS also offers courses and workshops such as: Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS); Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA); Computer Fundamentals, Keyboarding and Computer Speed instruction. Other Mini-Workshops that become available (based upon demand/availability) include: Computer Basics; Internet Basics; Microsoft Word Basics; Facebook 101 and Google 101.
